OIL IN WATER
So, People like scientist at BP cant find the oil? Where did it go! Has anyone told you that some of the crude oil and chemicals that make it up will dissolve in water. Does this make sense? Last months south American news reports 500 Dolphin turtles and Fish die from no visible oil pollution. What caused these deaths. I have an idea. They people said the animals stomachs were empty and the obvious cause of death is starvation. Well yes that and exhaustion are what may be the culprit. But if some of the oil dissolves into the ocean and spread into main ocean currents. the contaminated water could enter a water cycle. The fish and other sea creatures travel in these currents and this has been the impact. The contaminated water causing lack of food for the larger organisms. They in turn poisoned in the water from a dilute oil chemical toxicity all over the creature in contact with the water. It is not detectable enough in the grams of toxic mess because the creatures live in water. It may be toxic in micro-grams, just he minute change of balance makes it unbearable for the animals. This constant toxic irritation causes the creatures to die from this slow poisoning and also lack of interest in food. Do you eat when your sick to your stomach from bad water. The big fear is the gulf water will eventually cycle to South America and Africa. These are main flows of ocean currents and many fish and other animals swim in these lanes of fast moving water. What will be the impact and will we have a way to measure it when the oil company has so much influence.
